Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov has been invited to visit Uzbekistan on February 24-25.
According to the Berdymukhamedovs press service, his Uzbek counterpart, President Islam Karimov, is keen to enhance what was described as the "time-tested relations of friendship" between the two authoritarian states.
"Im confident that your forthcoming visit will make it possible to discuss in detail prospects for our many-sided collaborations in the interests of the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples," Karimov stated in his formal invitation to Berdymukhamedov.
